Inventory Usage Reports

Accessing your historic sales data into a format that is meaningful can assist you in the managing of what can quite often be your biggest asset - your inventory.  Good inventory management will improve stock turns, reduce inventory and very importantly reduce your out of stocks, hence reducing freight and double handling.  You will also be able to track actual profits generated per item or period, and a whole lot more.

The reports below are some of your most valuable reporting tools for MYOB if you manage inventory.

Sales as Units per item per month.  Can be filtered by supplier.

Sales in Units over 13 Months

Sales in dollars per item and month. Can be filtered by supplier.

Sales in Dollars by Item over 13 months

Gross profit dollars per item and month. Can be filtered by supplier..

Sales in Gross Profit Dollars by Item over 13 months

Monthly sales history of items over a nominated 13 month period.  Lists Units sold, their gross sales value, the gross profit achieved and their gross margin.  This can be filtered by supplier.

Sales By Item - Units, Sales, Profits and GP Margin over Previous 13 months (Exc GST)

A better format for exported data to a spreadsheet.  Sales as Units per item per month.  Can be filtered by supplier.

Sales in Units over 13 Months for Export to Spreadsheets

This report summarised sales (in units sold) of every item and calculates a rate of sale for both the previous 3 and the previous 6 months.  It then divided the current stock holding by the rate of sale to make a guestimate of the months stock held
